This will cause the compiler to search the current directory for include files surrounded by brackets (e.g., #include ) before searching the standard Borland-provided include directory. I just tested this with Borland C++ 3.1 and it works. If you omit "-I ." then you'll get the Borland version of stdio.h, which you don't want.
